MANSORY Stallone GTS for the Ferrari 812 GTS — the open-top V12 Ferrari at the end of its production window

The Ferrari 812 GTS — Ferrari's 2019 open-top sister to the 812 Superfast — carries two records that reshape how the Mansory Stallone programme is specified. It is the first series-production front-engine V12 Ferrari spider since the 1969 365 GTB/4 Daytona Spider, ending a fifty-year gap in Maranello's line of open-top front-engine V12 grand-tourers. And with the 812 line's factory production now concluded and the successor 12 Cilindri in ramp, the 812 GTS is the last NA V12 Ferrari convertible Maranello will build before the 12 Cilindri Spider takes over. The Mansory Stallone GTS programme is dimensioned specifically to the GTS retractable-hard-top (RHT) body, not scaled from the Superfast kit — the GTS carries a structurally different C-pillar, a re-drawn rear deck to house the folding roof, and a different rear-fender-air-intake geometry to compensate for the loss of the Superfast's fastback roof airflow path.

Why the GTS kit is a ground-up separate SKU from the 812 Superfast Stallone

Ferrari engineered the 812 GTS around a folding-roof mechanism that required structural changes well beyond a roof-removal job. The A-pillar is reinforced to meet rollover loads without the fixed roof's closed-ring contribution. The rear deck is taller to accommodate the retracted roof stack. The rear quarter glass is eliminated entirely. And — critical for the Mansory kit — the rear-fender air intakes were redesigned to route cooling air that previously used the fastback roof to the rear brakes and the rear differential. The Mansory Stallone GTS kit:

  • Ships LHD-specific and RHD-specific mirror housings (the 812 GTS's mirror mounting on the A-pillar differs between markets — LHD mounts are not interchangeable with RHD)
  • Includes a dedicated rear-fender-intake set that is GTS-specific (the Superfast's rear-fender intake would starve the GTS rear-brake cooling loop)
  • Uses a taller rear-deck carbon panel that clears the folding-roof stack in both open and closed position

Body conversion — the published kit list

  • Front kit — redesigned front bumper shell with deep lower splitter and exposed carbon air-curtains
  • Front fenders (wide) — wide-body front arches, structural not overlay
  • Splitter for front bumper — separate underbody splitter, pairs with the front kit
  • Front light air vents top — carbon overlays at the headlight upper corners
  • Side skirts — carbon sills with downforce flow blades
  • Side panels — carbon rocker panels extending the bodyline from skirt to rear arch
  • Rear kit — redesigned rear bumper shell with integrated diffuser
  • Rear spoiler — boot-lid / rear-deck lip
  • Rear wing — taller fixed rear wing (optional, specified on track-focused commissions only)
  • Rear fender air intake set (GTS-specific) — replaces Superfast rear-fender intake geometry
  • Mirror housings (LHD variant) — in three sub-spec variants: standard LHD mirror cover, standard LHD mirror housing, and NEW LHD mirror housing (the 2023+ refreshed Mansory GTS mirror)
  • Mirror housings (RHD variant) — RHD-specific mounting geometry for UK, Hong Kong, Australia, Japan and Singapore markets
  • Outer door handle — carbon door-handle inserts

Material: dry carbon on the rear wing, side panels, rear-fender intake set, mirror housings, and front fender wide extensions; PU-RIM with visible carbon on the front kit shell, rear kit shell, side skirts and splitter (full-dry-carbon upgrade available). Install runs five to seven shop days including the RHT mechanism-clearance verification.

V12 powertrain — 800 hp NA, unchanged by kit

The 812 GTS runs the F140GA 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 — a variant of the F140 engine family — at 800 hp / 718 Nm, with the redline at 8,900 rpm. 0–100 km/h is 3.0 seconds; top speed is above 340 km/h (limited by the RHT aero at the higher-speed regime versus the Superfast's coupé body). The Stallone GTS kit is bodywork only — engine output is unchanged. A Mansory sport-exhaust sits as a separate line item and is among the most-commissioned add-ons on 812 GTS orders because the open-top body amplifies the V12 character. Factory carbon-ceramic brakes (398 mm front / 360 mm rear) are preserved, aperture unchanged.

The RHT mechanism itself sits inside the factory rear-deck cavity. The Mansory rear wing and the taller rear-deck carbon panel were both designed against the RHT's open-close articulation envelope — the roof opens and closes in 14 seconds to factory spec with the Mansory parts installed, and Ferrari's mid-speed roof-articulation lockout (the RHT cannot be cycled above 45 km/h) is unaffected.

Wheels — 22" or 23" forged, RHT-specific wheel balance

Factory 812 GTS ships on 20" wheels front, 20" rear. Mansory's forged wheel offering for the 812 GTS covers 22" and 23" in multi-spoke designs, on the Ferrari 5×114.3 PCD. The heavier front-axle load of the front-engine V12 and the open-top weight distribution difference between GTS and Superfast means the workshop sanctions specific tyre compounds — Pirelli P Zero Corsa and Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S — for the 22" and 23" fitment. The 22" is the more-commissioned choice on open-top commissions where ride comfort on a convertible is a priority; the 23" is the track-focused commission choice. Full wheel range at Hodoor forged wheels.

Geography — the RHT-on-collector-donor map

The 812 GTS geographic order book is shaped by the RHT body style specifically — owner-drivers in markets where an open-top V12 spider is a functional driving proposition rather than a fair-weather statement. The Mansory Stallone GTS order book weights into three distinct clusters:

Southern-California / South-Florida year-round top-down corridor. LA (Beverly Hills / Pacific Palisades), Newport Beach, Palm Springs, Miami, Palm Beach, and Key Biscayne carry a year-round RHT-open-usage climate that matches the 812 GTS's design positioning. Mansory commissions from this cluster weight heavily toward the full body conversion (front kit + rear kit + side panels + both fender extensions) with the 22" forged wheel and the Mansory sport-exhaust. Approximately 40% of Stallone GTS commissions to date ship into the US coastal corridor.

European Mediterranean summer corridor. Monaco, the Côte d'Azur, Marbella, Porto Cervo, the Balearics, the Italian Amalfi corridor, and the Greek island corridor (Mykonos / Santorini). Commissions from this cluster split between full-spec (Monaco, Marbella) and restrained-spec (the Italian commissions, which tend toward a retained factory paint and the lighter-tier wing spec). Switzerland carries a summer-garage extension of this cluster.

Gulf winter-garage cluster. UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait — the 812 GTS is driven open-top during the cooler November-to-March months. Mansory Stallone GTS commissions here tend to be paired with Mansory Stallone coupé commissions in the same household garage — the GTS for open-top season, the Superfast for year-round use — making the 812 Stallone pair one of the common matched commissions in the Gulf Mansory Ferrari book.

Asia-Pacific. RHD markets — Hong Kong, Singapore, the UK — specify the RHD mirror-housing variant. Japan (RHD) carries a small but steady Stallone GTS order volume. Russia / CIS orders route through the Tsar programme; the CIS order book is summer-concentrated with matched Stallone Superfast coupé pairings common.

Sister Mansory Ferrari builds

The Stallone GTS sits within the Mansory Ferrari stack alongside the 812 Superfast Stallone (the fastback coupé sister — the natural matched-pair commission for Stallone GTS owners), the Purosangue Pugnator (same F140-family V12 in SUV form), the 296 GTB (V6 PHEV mid-engine), the SF90 Stradale, the Roma, and the F8 Tributo. Stallone GTS commissions into households that already carry a Pugnator or a Purosangue-order typically specify matched paint-and-weave spec so the F140-family V12 Ferrari family reads consistently across the garage.

FAQ

Does Stallone GTS share parts with Stallone for the 812 Superfast coupé?
The mirror housings, side skirts, side panels, front light air vents, splitter and front fender wide extensions are common across both SKUs. The rear kit, the rear-fender air-intake set, the rear wing and the rear-deck carbon panel are GTS-specific and differ from the Superfast Stallone. The front kit shell is common at the forward face but differs in the RHT-related rear structural interface.

Does the kit clear the retractable hard top throughout its open-close articulation?
Yes. The Mansory rear-deck carbon panel and the rear wing were both dimensioned against the RHT's articulation envelope in both open and closed positions. The factory 14-second roof cycle time is preserved, and the 45 km/h mid-speed roof-articulation lockout is unaffected.

Do the LHD and RHD mirror housings carry the same dry-carbon weave spec?
Yes. The LHD and RHD mirror housings differ only in the A-pillar mounting geometry; the exterior weave spec, finish spec and material tier are identical across both. The RHD mirror is specified for UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Japan and Republic of Ireland commissions; all other markets ship LHD.

Is the fixed rear wing homologated for on-road use?
The rear wing is optional — most commissions ship without the fixed wing. When specified, the wing is homologated for on-road use in most markets; some EU markets require a specific TÜV certificate which the workshop supplies at commission. The wing does not affect the factory limited-top-speed regime.

Can the Mansory V12 tune from the Superfast apply to the 812 GTS engine?
A Mansory V12 tune applicable to the F140GA is in the workshop catalogue, but open-top commissions less commonly specify the tune because the Ferrari 8,900 rpm redline is already at the practical limit for a convertible use case. The sport-exhaust is the more-commissioned add-on on 812 GTS orders.

Does the 12 Cilindri replace the 812 in Ferrari's line — and will Mansory build a 12 Cilindri kit?
Yes, Ferrari's 12 Cilindri replaces the 812 line at both the coupé and the forthcoming Spider trims. A Mansory programme for the 12 Cilindri coupé is in design but has no announced release window at time of writing. The 812 Stallone GTS programme on this page remains the current Mansory RHT-V12-Ferrari kit until the 12 Cilindri Spider lands and a successor Mansory programme is announced.
