The G90 M5 launched in 2024 as the first true plug-in hybrid M5 — S68 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 paired to an electric motor on the eight-speed gearbox, 727 PS combined, 1,000 Nm of torque, and a kerb weight that pushed past 2,400 kg. Mansory's response is one of the more aggressive packages in the BMW lineup: a complete carbon set across nose, sides and rear, the signature vented hood, and a separate PowerBox module that lifts the hybrid combined output to roughly 838 PS and 1,150 Nm. The kit is sedan-only at launch (G90); the G99 Touring estate is not currently supported by Mansory.
Sister BMW builds in our catalogue: the XM (and its component parts — front lip with side flaps, fender and door extensions, roof spoiler), the 7 Series G70, the 7 Series G11/G12, the X6 F16 and the X5 E70.
Hand-laid T200/T380 dry carbon, raw weave finish unless paint is specified. Every part attaches to OEM mounting points — no permanent body work. Bench install on a complete set runs to roughly two shop days.

The Mansory PowerBox is a separate option, not part of the body kit. It is a plug-in module that sits on the engine harness and re-maps boost and fuelling on the S68 V8 alongside the electric-motor torque profile. Stock figures are 727 PS / 1,000 Nm; with the PowerBox installed Mansory rates the car at roughly 838 PS combined and 1,150 Nm of torque. The hybrid drivetrain stays mechanically untouched — no exhaust changes are required for the PowerBox itself, although most owners spec the Mansory triple-tip sport exhaust at the same time because the OEM quad tips do not pair visually with the carbon diffuser. The factory M Driver's Package limit (305 km/h) is unlocked as part of the PowerBox calibration.
Mansory's standard wheel offering for the G90 is a 22-inch ultralight forged design in multi-spoke or twin-spoke layouts, finished in two-tone or single-tone. The OEM 20"/21" M5 wheels can be retained — the carbon body geometry does not require larger rims for clearance — but most full-set builds spec the 22" forged. The full forged-wheel range sits in the Hodoor forged wheels collection and can be configured to the G90 PCD and centre bore.
The kit is dimensioned for the BMW M5 G90 sedan only (production from 2024). The G99 Touring estate, despite sharing nose, doors and rear-wheel-arch geometry with the sedan, has a different roof, rear-quarter and tailgate line, and Mansory has not released a G99-specific kit at the time of writing. Owners of the previous M5 (F90) should look elsewhere — the F90 used the older S63 V8 without hybrid hardware, and the G90 carbon panels do not transfer.
Where the M5 G90 sits in the broader Mansory BMW catalogue:
The G90 M5 is a brand-new chassis (2024+), so the order book on the Mansory build is still forming. Five short answers to what we actually see at the order desk.
Q. Where do most M5 G90 kits land?
The home market is Germany — Munich, Stuttgart and Düsseldorf — followed by the UK (Cheshire and Surrey M-fans). For Germany itself we ship without a country-specific blog page; for the UK see UK performance.
Q. Which Gulf states actually buy the M5 (not just the X6 / XM)?
Mostly the UAE and Qatar; the M5 has an active enthusiast scene in Doha that the SUV market does not. Saudi Arabia trends toward the XM and 7 G70 instead.
Q. Asia?
Mostly Japan (gray-import buyers), Hong Kong for the M-Sport scene, and South Korea — the K-tuning scene runs heavy on M-cars. Japan has no dedicated country page; we ship via standard EU-to-Asia freight.
Q. Eastern Europe and CIS?
Steady. The Tsar programme covers Russia and the wider CIS for owners shipping into Moscow and St Petersburg.
Q. The US?
Limited — the G90 launched in the US in mid-2024 and the after-market scene is still ramping. We ship case by case; no dedicated US country page.
The full carbon set ships in four to six weeks from the workshop. The PowerBox module ships separately and can be installed later if the body work is commissioned first. Wheels are quoted independently — the 22" Mansory forged set is a four to six week lead. Email [email protected] or WhatsApp +44 7488 818747 with your VIN and we will quote landed including paint, wheels and (optional) PowerBox in one freight booking. New Mansory releases sit on the Hodoor Mansory blog; for one-off carbon work or interior trim see the Custom Design & Build service.
Will the kit fit the M5 G99 Touring?
Not at this stage. The G99 shares nose and doors with the sedan but the roof, C-pillar and tailgate are different — Mansory has not released a Touring-specific kit yet. We will list it here when it appears.
Does the PowerBox void warranty?
The PowerBox is plug-in — it can be removed before a service visit. BMW dealer policy on this varies by country; we can supply Mansory's installation note for owners who want to clarify with their dealer.
Is the carbon hood structural?
Yes. The Mansory hood replaces the OEM aluminium panel and bolts to the same hinge positions. It carries the same NVH and thermal insulation as OEM.
Can the OEM M5 wheels be kept?
Yes. The carbon body geometry does not change wheel arch clearance — OEM 20"/21" M5 wheels fit the kitted car. Most owners still spec the 22" forged because the visual proportions read better with the carbon body.
What about the F90 M5 (2018–2023)?
Different chassis, different engine (S63 V8, no hybrid). The G90 carbon panels do not transfer. Mansory has F90 component parts available — contact us for the specific F90 spec.
Can the rear diffuser be installed without the Mansory exhaust?
Not cleanly. The diffuser is dimensioned around the triple-tip layout; the OEM quad-tip M5 exhaust will sit too far inboard and leave gaps. Spec them together.
