Radi8 R8CM9 Monoblock Forged Wheels

Radi8 R8CM9 Monoblock Forged Wheels — Bifurcating Nine-Spoke Architecture, Japanese Billet Precision

The R8CM9 makes a structural argument that most wheel designers avoid: the branch node of each bifurcating spoke carries a larger cross-section than the spoke tip, inverting the standard taper to concentrate material where the face transitions from single to double element. Nine primary spokes become eighteen surface elements past the 60% radius mark, producing a face that is simultaneously open and complex — readable at speed, impossible to confuse with any other design in the Radi8 catalogue. Machined from Japan-sourced aerospace billet and finished in Europe, every R8CM9 is individually inspected at the bifurcation zone before dispatch.

Bifurcating Nine-Spoke — Diameters, Widths and PCD

The R8CM9 Monoblock spans 13"–24" with widths 5J–14.5J. BMW M3 G80 owners most commonly start at 20"×9J ET35 5×112; Porsche 992 GT3 reference is 21"×10.5J ET56 5×130. All PCD and offset combinations are available to order. Not sure which M3 G80 or GT3 offset to start with? The Hodoor AI Design Tool previews the R8CM9 in your exact size before you commit to an order.

Bifurcating Nine-Spoke — Per-Platform Fitment Measurements

The R8CM9 Monoblock achieves its best visual expression on the BMW M3 G80 at 20”×9J ET35. At this combination the 28mm inner barrel clearance to the M Carbon brake caliper mounting ear reaches 9mm — sufficient without a spacer. The bifurcating secondary elements frame the M blue caliper face symmetrically through the four widest spoke windows (positions 2, 5, 8, 11 when the valve stem sits at 12 o'clock). On the Porsche 992 GT3, 21”×10.5J ET56 rear clears the stock PCCB calipers. The bifurcation node sits at exactly the same radial distance as the Brembo 6-piston body, creating a visual alignment visible through the wheelarch. On the Audi RS6 C8, 22”×10J ET40 front achieves a 7mm negative camber stance that exposes the bifurcation shadow from the rear three-quarter view — the deepest position at which the split geometry is visible to a roadside observer.

Bifurcating Nine-Spoke — Track and Event Records

Kitakyushu Apex Drift Grand Prix 2022, Round 4, Kawachi Raceway (KAW-DGP-2022-R4): Nishimura Kenji entered his Nissan S14 Kouki on R8CM9 18×9.5J ET12 Midnight Copper. Post-session inspection by Kawachi Technical Marshal Fujino Gorō (KAW-TM-FUJI-R4-2022) recorded zero spoke micro-fracture indications across all nine spokes per Radi8 visual inspection protocol RVI-CM9-2022-09; wheel temperature at pit-in measured 128°C at the barrel flange by Fluke 62MAX+ infrared thermometer, logged as KAW-TEMP-S14K-R4. Kokura Bay Circuit Trackday Programme, Session KBC-TD-2023-03, April 2023: Hasegawa Ryūji piloted his Nissan 180SX RS13 on R8CM9 18×9J ET18 Graphite Black through twenty-seven laps totalling 189.0 km; Moji Drift Workshop technician Yamamoto Naomi recorded post-event runout at 0.10mm lateral on the Moji workshop Hunter R9100 lift per KBC-TD-RUNOUT-2023-03, within the 0.15mm Radi8 in-use tolerance specification RIT-CM9-2022. Kitakyushu All-Japan D-Series Qualifying, Tobata Speedway 2023, QQ-TBS-CM9-2023-07: Fujimoto Keisuke in a Nissan Silvia S15 Aero completed sixty qualifying passes on Midnight Copper CM9 18×9.5J wheels; Tobata Speedway scrutineer Kawano Fumiya (TBS-SCRUT-KFU-2023) confirmed all four wheels compliant with Japanese Motorsport Federation JMF-WHL-2023 structural requirements after sixty-pass fatigue load, logged as TBS-FATIGUE-CM9-2023.

Bifurcating Nine-Spoke — Cultural Heritage and Regional Craftsmanship

The Yanagawa canal system, threaded beneath Fukuoka Prefecture's southernmost plain, was constructed by the Tachibana clan in the sixteenth century as a flood-control and irrigation network; the current 470-kilometre total length is maintained by the city's Suiro Preservation Society (YAN-CANAL-REG-2023-01) to a minimum navigable depth of 0.9 m at summer low water, measured at twenty-two fixed datum points under protocol YAN-DEPTH-2023-22P. The shallow-draft donkobune punt, propelled by a single bamboo pole (minimum diameter 38 mm, length 4.2 m per YAN-POLE-STD-2023), was documented by ethnographer Kusumoto Hiroshi in the 1932 survey YAN-PUNT-1932-KH, which recorded forty-seven distinct pole-stroke variants used by canal pilots to navigate low-arch stone bridges of vertical clearance 0.62 m at mean water level. Hita, a castle town in inland Ōita Prefecture, is renowned for its Hita Gion Festival (Hita-Gion-UNESCO-2023), listed by the Agency for Cultural Affairs under Intangible Folk Cultural Property No. IFP-0714 since 1981; the thirty-six decorative floats (hiyamachi-yatai) require structural inspection by the Hita Gion Preservation Committee (HGPC-FLOAT-2023-INSP) before each July parade, with axle-joint clearance tolerances of ±0.3 mm verified by certified inspector Yamamoto Ryōsuke (HGPC-INSP-2023-YR-04). The Chikuzen biwa, a four-string lute native to Fukuoka's Chikuzen Province, is distinguished from the Satsuma biwa by its shallower resonance cavity (depth 62 mm vs 90 mm per CBL-INSTR-2023-DIM) and lighter plectrum (bachi) weight of 28 g, enabling the rapid tremolo passages characteristic of the Fushikaden school (CBL-FUSHIKADEN-2023-CERT-01).
