The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C8 is the eighth-generation Corvette and the most significant generational change in the model's 67-year history — the first mid-engined Corvette ever built. Launched as a 2020 model year, the C8 abandoned the front-engine / rear-transaxle layout that had defined every previous generation in favour of a mid-mounted naturally-aspirated 6.2 L LT2 V8 driving an 8-speed Tremec TR-9080 dual-clutch transaxle — Chevrolet's first dual-clutch and the first paddle-shift gearbox in any production Corvette. With the Z51 Performance Package, the LT2 produces 495 hp / 637 Nm (without Z51, 490 hp / 630 Nm). The C8's mid-engine layout, MR weight distribution, and the Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 suspension (optional, standard with Z51) combine for a 0–60 mph time of 2.9 seconds with launch control engaged — making the entry-level Stingray quicker than every previous front-engine Corvette including the C7 ZR1.
The Larte Avatar is Larte Design's body-kit programme for the C8 — a coherent aero schedule covering front and rear fascias, engine cover, fender accents, side-skirts and rear, calibrated to the C8's pre-facelift body lines (2020–2023, before the 2024 minor update). The full Larte Design collection sits alongside our Chevrolet body-kit catalogue and the wider body kits range.

The Avatar schedule is calibrated to the C8's mid-engine architecture — the front fascia covers the body's compact short-overhang front-end (no engine to clear), and the rear-fascia composite attachment is built around the C8's mid-mounted LT2 engine cover and the four-corner exhaust outlet arrangement (or central quad-exit on the Z51). The vented engine-cover overlay is sized for the LT2's mid-mounted thermal-rejection requirement.
Engineered around the pre-facelift C8 Stingray body lines (2020–2023). Compatible with the base Stingray, the Z51 Performance Package, and the convertible/HTC Stingray variants. The 2024+ minor refresh and the high-performance Z06 (LT6 5.5 L flat-plane V8) and E-Ray (hybrid AWD) variants use different rear-end bodywork and are served by dedicated Larte programmes. Cross-fitment between trims is handled through our Custom Body Kit Design & Manufacturing Service.
C8 factory wheels run 19" front / 20" rear staggered. Avatar builds typically step to 20" front / 21" rear staggered Larte forged monoblock or three-piece designs that preserve the C8's mid-engine proportions. Browse the full forged-wheel catalogue or specify a one-off through our Custom Forged Wheels Manufacturing service. Typical fitment 275/35 R20 / 325/25 R21 — full clearance for the C8's optional Z51 Brembo carbon-ceramic brake package.

Will the Avatar kit fit the high-performance C8 Z06 or E-Ray hybrid?
The Z06 (LT6 5.5 L flat-plane V8) and E-Ray (hybrid AWD) use different rear-end bodywork (wider rear flares on Z06, AWD-specific underbody on E-Ray) and are served by dedicated Larte programmes. Avatar is calibrated to the standard C8 Stingray body lines.
Does the kit fit both coupé and convertible / HTC Stingray?
Yes — front, side and rear-fascia composite attachments are shared between coupé and HTC variants. The roof-overlay accent panel is coupé-specific.
Does the engine-cover overlay affect the C8's mid-mounted LT2 cooling?
No — the overlay is sized to clear and supplement the factory LT2 engine-bay air-intake routing and twin heat-extractor outlets. Cooling capacity is preserved at sustained track loads.
