The 730i G11/G12 LCI is a heavy long-wheelbase saloon (~1 880 kg in B48 trim), and that mass is what dictates wheel choice. This guide covers stock specs, what changes when you go larger, and the wheels we currently stock for this chassis — with honest notes on fitment, weight and ride feel on the rear air-suspension.

| Brand / model | Construction | Diameters | Best for |

| BC Forged HCL10 (HCL Series) | Forged 2-piece (6061-T6) | 19–22" | Premium — classic concave luxury look, fully custom offsets |

Top picks for the 730i
- Vossen HF3 — best balance of price, weight and aesthetic for a 7 Series owner who wants more than OEM but doesn't want to commit to fully forged. The flow-form construction keeps unsprung mass close to factory wheels, so the air-suspension stays predictable on 21".
- Motion MM117 — if budget is the priority. Same forged 1-piece category as much pricier names, with available 20–22" sizing in 5×112.
- BC Forged HCL10 — for owners who want a true OEM++ look with custom offsets and finishes. Two-piece construction lets us spec the lip and face exactly to your fender line.
- Vossen S21-01 — top of the range, 3-piece. Pick this if your 730i is part of a wider build (M Sport bumper, lowering kit) and you want the wheels to match that tier.
What to check before ordering
- Calipers: M Sport package on G11/G12 LCI uses larger front discs. Verify minimum spoke clearance (≈19 mm) when going below 19".
- TPMS: EU-spec cars use 433 MHz sensors; the system needs reactivation after a wheel swap (any BMW dealer or ISTA-equipped indie can do it in 10 minutes).
- Air suspension: long-wheelbase G12s ride on rear air. Going to 22" with low-profile tyres makes the system noticeably busier on rough roads — consider 21" + thicker sidewall as a comfort compromise.
- Run-flat vs standard: the 7 Series ships on RFTs. If you switch to standard tyres, plan for a tyre repair kit or compressor — there is no spare in the boot.
- Hub-centric rings: almost every aftermarket wheel for BMW comes at 72.6 or 73.1 mm bore. Always order rings down to 66.6 — without them, you will get a steering-wheel vibration above 100 km/h.
